This half-day tour lets you experience both snorkeling around Kohama Island and a visit to the famous Phantom Island. It also includes the ferry transfer between Ishigaki and Kohama, offering excellent value for a seamless island adventure.

Phantom Island—also known as Hama Island—is a small sandbar that appears in the shallow waters depending on the tide. Surrounded by emerald-green seas and pristine white sand, it offers truly stunning scenery. Wherever you point your camera, you’re sure to capture picture-perfect moments.

Following your time on Phantom Island, you’ll head to a nearby snorkeling spot off Kohama Island, where you can explore vibrant marine life and a thriving underwater ecosystem.

This is a physical activity that is accessible to all. But you must:

• be between 7 and 64 years old
• be in good physical condition
• wear a life jacket during the tour, or you cannot join the tour
• be able to swim, as snorkeling is done in waters where you will not have touch the ground (previous snorkeling experience is recommended)
• not be pregnant in the case of women

What you need to bring:

• Towels and a change of clothes. Wear your swimming costume under your clothes.
• Footwear that can get wet 
• Rash guard (for those concerned about sun exposure)

Depending on the day, the course has a waiting time up to 2 hours after the tour ends before the boat departs from Kohama.
