Frequently asked questions

We recommend taking the JR Nippo Main Line. The most frequent and fastest service is the Limited Express Sonic. Limited Express Sonic trains directly connect Nakatsu Station to Oita Station. Services run regularly throughout the day, ensuring good flexibility for departures.

The cost of a Limited Express Sonic ticket between Nakatsu and Oita varies depending on the seat type. For a non-reserved seat, the price typically ranges from around 2,500 to 3,000 yen. For a reserved seat, expect to pay approximately 3,000 to 3,500 yen. These fares include the base ticket price and the Limited Express surcharge. We recommend checking exact prices at the time of purchase, as they may vary slightly.
